About
As an Event helper ,you'll assist with pre-event planning and day of support ,helping bring the Business Award Ceremony ,Glow Dance ,and future events they life .No prior experience is needed - just a willingness to help and be part of a dedicated team.
Responsibilities :
- Venue Research & Outreach ( 2 volunteers ) : Research locations in Baltimore ,Beltsville ,and Towson that are low budget . Contact venues for availability and pricing and attend venue tours or meetings to gather information. Keep in touch with me the founder
- Meeting Representation ( 2 volunteers ) : Attend pre-event meetings if the event lead is unavailable ,taking notes and reporting back for final approval
- Volunteer Coordination Support ( 1 volunteer ) : Assist the Volunteer Coordinator in requesting volunteers for specific tasks ,without managing volunteers directly
- Setup & Logistics ( 2-3 volunteers ) : Set up tables , signage ,and other materials for events
- On the floor Support ( 1 volunteer ) : Assist wherever is needed during the event and support the On Site Leader with urgent tasks

Requirement Details
- Reliable transportation to attend events and venue tours in person
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Must attend at least one mandatory in person venue tours prior to events
- Time Commitment :
- Event day for Zion's Legacy Glow Dance : Date to be determined
- Event Day for Zion's Legacy Business Award Ceremony : November 15,2025
- Mandatory venue tours : Dates to be scheduled before events
- Additional Notes :
- Volunteers are not required to attend rehearsals but are welcome if available
