We're preparing for a special ,private storytelling and health awareness event honoring Zion Lewis ,who died from pulmonary embolism at age 23.Through storytelling ,patient advocacy, and community education, we're working to raise awareness and help make health conversations more meaningful.
Here's where you come in !
The founder has already started working on the instrumental playlist but could use a helping hand .With many event planming responsibilities to coordinate ,the founder is looking for a music -loving volunteer who can help bring this part of the event together- and take charge of the music on event day.
You won't just help create the playlist .You'll help bring it to life!
Responsbilites:
Before the Event
- Help select gentle,uplifting ,reflective instrumental music for guest arrival and departure
- Organize and prepare the playlist in advance
- Collaborate with the Founder to review music selections and obtain approval of the final playlist
- Coordinate with the Audio & Technology lead to prepare for playback and identify any equipment or technical needs
- On Event Day
- Arrive at 9:00am to help set up and test the approved instrumental playlist
- Coordinate playback testing with the Audio & Technology Lead
- Manage music during guest arrival and departure
- Start and stop tracks at the appropriate times
- Coordinate music cues with the event team
- Ensure the approved playlist is ready to use and that playback is ready to use and that playback runs smoothly throughout the assignment
- Provide backup support if the lead coordinator needs assistance
- Previous music or event experience is welcome but not required.A positive attitude ,reliability, and willingness to help are what matter most !
